Law enforcement agents with the Alabama Department of Corrections Investigations and Intelligence Division made multiple arrests following two separate incidents that occurred during visitation at the Ventress Facility in Clayton on Saturday, among those was a Brewton woman.
Morgan Steele, 27, of Brewton, is facing charges for unlawful possession of a controlled substance after agents found methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia in her possession during an inspection of the vehicle she was driving.
In November 2015, Steele was released from prison on parole after serving one year for possession of a controlled substance in Escambia County. Steele was taken to Barbour County Jail where they were booked.
In a separate incident Dionne Perdue, 28, of Grady, was arrested for promoting prison contraband after a Correctional Officer found a cell phone and cell phone charger wrapped in black electrical tape during a search.
