Down here in the South, nothing is more refreshing than a tall glass of sweet tea. That is what the owner of the new business Sweet T’s boutique plans to do for Brewton: refresh.
“There are quite a few boutiques in town, but everyone is looking for something fresh,” the owner Ashley Gordon said.
Gordon’s boutique opened on June 3. Her store has a wide selection of items from children’s clothes to jewelry to antique furniture pieces. Gordon said she plans to keep Sweet T’s fresh by doing special flash sales and ordering something new every week. Gordon said right now she is doing two to three orders a week.
“I’ve always wanted to have a children’s consignment store,” Gordon said. “I saw this place for sale on the internet, and I thought it was a great deal. So, I just hopped into it.”
Gordon said her store will benefit the Brewton area because she said there isn’t many places to shop for children’s clothes in the area.
As Sweet T’s grows, Gordon plans to add boys’ and men’s clothing as well as more accessories and knick-knacks. Sweet T’s is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you would like to learn more about Sweet T’s, you can find them on Facebook as “Sweet T’s Boutique.”
