Frisco Medical Center announces new doctor

Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Gabriel Ikemba Madu, a board-certified family medicine physician, to Frisco City Family Medical Center located at 53 Mulberry Street in Frisco City, Alabama.

“I am eager to start working and meet the medical needs in Frisco City and the surrounding areas,” stated Dr. Madu. “I just want to help people get well.”

Dr. Madu joins the practice from a previous clinic in Greenville, Miss. He has experience in primary care as well as hospital and emergency/urgent care medicine. He received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training in family medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and EC HealthNet Family Health Center.

Dr. Madu will be treating adults and children Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. A certified family nurse practitioner will see patients on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Same day appointments are available and walk-ins are welcome. Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and most private insurance are accepted. A discount fee is available for all uninsured and underinsured patients.
