BPD releases name of body found at Walmart

The Brewton Police Department’s Public Information Officer Heath Madison confirmed that the deceased female discovered at Walmart is 38-year-old Jamie Lynn Brownlee. Brownlee is from the Rome road community of Andalusia, AL.
“The case is still under investigation by the Department of Forensic Sciences and an official cause of death has not been released,” Madison said.
Brownlee’s body was found inside a vehicle parked in front of the Garden Center on July 10 at about 6 p.m. Madison confirmed that no foul play is suspected at this time. The Brownlee’s next of kin has been notified, and the body has been transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. Madison said that the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences are completing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
This is currently all of the information the Brewton Police Department is able to reveal about the case.
