The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Escambia County Board of Education on August 9, 2019 to investigate a complaint of an altercation between W.S. Neal Middle School Vice Principle Donald Eugene Hardyman Jr. and a student.

After an Investigation was conducted the case was presented to a grand jury. Vice Principle Donald Eugene Hardyman Jr. was then arrested for Torture/Willful abuse of a child-non family.

Donald Eugene Hardyman was arrested on August 30th, 2019 and was given a bond. This investigation is still ongoing.
