Mr. Kevin Ray Herrin, 25, passed away Sun., Jan. 12, 2020, in the Brewton hospital.

Mr. Herrin was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 13 years, coming from Lumberton, Miss.  He loved ministering the Word of God at Grace Church in Brewton, and Cross Point Fellowship in Evergreen.  He enjoyed dirt car racing, fishing, hunting, and was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.  He participated as an athlete in the 2008 Special Olympics where he carried the torch, and won first place in a wheelchair race.

Mr. Herrin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George Ramp and Sandra Rome.

He is survived by his loving parents, Carl and Lillie Herrin; and a beloved younger brother, Kaleb Herrin, all of Evergreen; his paternal grandparents, Mitchell R. Herrin and Glenda N. Herrin of Lumberton, Miss.; his aunts, Crystal L. Herrin of Lumberton, Miss., Barbara (Anthony) Runnels of Lumberton, Miss., Sandra Kline of New York, N.Y., Connie Saucier of Foxworth, Miss, and Laura Ramp of La.; his uncles, Mitchell L. (Rebekah) Herrin of Brewton, Ala., George Ramp of Cross Roads, Miss, and Leonard Ramp of Biloxi, Miss.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., Jan. 18, 2020, at 1PM from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Herrin officiating.

Interment will follow at Grace Church Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Friday from 6Pm until 8PM.

Pallbearers:  Anthony Runnels, Huck Gibson, Leonard Ramp, Edmund Minchew, Mitchell Blair, and Jeremy Buras.
