January is board appreciation month and the school principals at Brewton City Schools extended much gratitude at the board of education meeting on Monday.

Addressing the board, TRM Principal Chuck Alford, BMS Principal Madelyn Cave, and BES Principal Barry Wood spoke highly of the board and presented each board member with a token of appreciation.

As part of the elementary school gift, a library book was dedicated to each board member and placed in the media center. Students were selected to read a letter of gratitude to each board member at the meeting. Each student gave a short explanation as to why each book was sleected.
