Mr. Daniel Levon Evans, 59, passed away Tues., Jan. 28, 2020, in a Pensacola hospital.

Mr. Evans was born in Mobile, Ala. and was a life-long resident of Brewton.  He worked as a glass technician at Weaver’s Glass Company for a number of years.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, collecting arrowheads, and was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.  Papa loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his father, Otis Levon Evans; and a brother, Paul Evans.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Evans of Brewton; a son, Tyler Evans of Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Talia (Alex) Smith of Brewton; three brothers, Sonny (Jackie) Evans, Larry (Donna) Evans, and Joey (Sharie) Evans, all of Brewton; two grandchildren, Jaxon Smith and Jacob Smith.

A time of visitation was held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Fri., Jan. 31, 2020, from 1PM until 1:30 PM.

Graveside funeral services were held on Fri., Jan. 31, 2020 at 2PM at Wildfork Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Cardwell, and Pastor Joey Johnson officiating under the direction of Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton.
