Mr. Edward “Pete” Martin, 75, of Bay Minette, Ala., passed away Wed., Feb. 5, 2020,  in a Mobile, Ala., hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Mobile.  A long time resident of Brewton before moving to Bay Minette. Mr. Martin was of the Church of God Faith and a retired painter from Hines Realty.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Hobbs Martin; his parents, Henry “Buck” Smith and Dorothy York Martin.

He is survived by his two sons, Jason (Julie) Martin of Jacksonville, Fla. and David (Tonia) Martin of Georgiana, Ala.; a daughter, Shannon Stanley Walker of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Robert Martin of Castleberry, Ala. and Pat Martin of Ala.; a sister, Dorothy Parker of Tenn.; three grandsons, Josh Martin, Matt Martin and Chandler Pugh.

Graveside Services were scheduled for Fri., Feb. 7, 2020, at 3:00PM at the Magnolia Cemetery Flomaton, Ala. with Rev. Ron Headley officiating.

Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery Flomaton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
