Jones College erased a 5-3 deficit Tuesday, Feb. 18, and went on to defeat Coastal Alabama-East 7-6.
The Warhawks collected 8 hits in the contest and committed 2 errors.
Centerfielder Daniel Phillips led the Warhawks at the plate. Phillips went 3-for-3, with three runs scored and two RBI.
Catcher Jon Karr was 2-for-3 with a RBI. Dillan Baldwin went 1-for 3 and drove in a run. Sam Ladner also had a RBI.
Kyle Gilmore (0-1), who worked 0.1 of an inning took the loss.
Graham Young started for the Warhawks. He pitched three innings, allowing four runs on five hits. Dustin Hernandez came on in relief and worked 3.2 innings, giving up one run on two hits.
