Ms. Jennifer Duryea Gillis,43, passed away on Fri., Mar. 20, 2020 at the Jay, Fla. hospital.

Ms. Gillis was a native and long-time resident of Brewton prior to moving to Gulf Shores, Ala. ten years ago.  She worked as a nurse before moving to Gulf Shores, where she was a call center supervisor.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hurbert Duryea Gillis and her mother, Joyce Gillis.

She is survived by a brother, John (Cindy) Lancaster of Brewton; two sisters, Jamie (Charles) Lambeth of Flomaton, and Joy Sawyer of Brewton; a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Ms. Jennifer Duryea Gillis will be held at a later date under the direction of Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton.
