RUBY FAYE RABON DYESS
CASTLEBERRY, ALA.
Mrs. Ruby Faye Rabon Dyess, 58, of Castleberry, Ala., made her home going on Sunday Mar. 29, 2020, after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Castleberry, Ala.
Mrs. Dyess was of the Christian Faith and a graduate of Conecuh County High School. She was a former employee of Judy Bond, Bobby’s Exxon, and the manager of the Valli Food Mart in Castleberry, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Dyess of Castleberry, Ala.; her daughter, Veronica (Keith) Lanford of Castleberry; her son, Shannon (Beth) Godwin of Castleberry; two sisters, Irma (Donald) Pipkin of Evergreen, Ala. and Sue Boyd of Brewton; four brothers, Levi (Becky) Rabon of Castleberry, Joe Rabon of Castleberry, Earnest (Debra) Rabon of Castleberry and Darroll (Cindy) Rabon of Castleberry; five grandchildren, Auburn (Jonathan) Thurman of Castleberry, Adrian (Christian) Mancil of Brewton, Kobi Godwin of Castleberry, Layla Godwin of Spokan, Wash., and Ivy Godwin of Castleberry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R.J. and Rubu Hobbs Rabon; three brothers, Wilbur Rabon, James Rabon, Lester Rabon.
Graveside Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 1, 2020, at 1PM at Buffington Cemetery with Pastor Avery Smith officiating.
Internment will follow in Buffington Cemetery, Castleberry, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Ala. directing.
