WING, ALABAMA

Mrs. Janice Louise Beck Cook, 85, of Wing, Ala., passed away Tuesday Apr. 14, 2020, in a local nursing facility after a brief illness. She was a native of Covington County, Ala., a former resident of Okaloosa County, Fla., and a resident of Wing. Mrs. Cook was a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Escambia Farms High School, and she later retired as a cutter from The Alatex Plant in Andalusia, Ala., with 38 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Kathy) Cook of Wing; a daughter, Karen (Paul) Rydowski of Wing; two brothers, Quinton Beck and Pebo Beck; one sister, Vivian Lee; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cook; a son Kenyon Wayne Cook; two brothers, Ronald Beck, Reginald Beck; one sister, Shirley Chessher.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Friday,  Apr. 17, 2020, at 2PM at Union Hill Cemetery.

Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery Wing, Ala., with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Ala. directing.
