EAST BRETON, ALA.
Mrs. Marie Kirkland Hart, 91, of East Brewton passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her home in East Brewton.
Mrs. Hart was born in Brooklyn, Ala. and had been a resident of the community for most of her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. During her working years , she worked as co-owner of a jewelry store. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of New Vision Church.
Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Hart; daughter, Pauletta Marie Hart Merritt; son, Samuel Larry Hart; brother, William Kirkland, and sister Mary Ellen Kerack.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jan Mosley, Michelle Aquirre, Samuel Alvin Hart, Warren Dantzler; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at the Still Cemetery in Damascus, Ala., at 11 AM with Bro. William Joyner officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
