Mrs. Betty Jean Ballard,84, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at a Mobile, Ala., hospital.
Mrs. Ballard was born in Castleberry, Ala., and had been a resident of Bay Minette for the past 10 years, coming from California. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Ash Clark and Lilly Mae Lowery Clark; and siblings, Edith Green, Lois Metzger, Boots Clark, and Mickey Clark.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ballard, Sr.; two sons, Ronald Ballard, Jr. and Blaine Ballard, all of Bay Minette; a sister, Elsie Harper of Ga.; grandchildren, Brinna Ballard, Alyce Ballard, Adrianna Ballard, Christopher Ballard, and Jesse Ballard; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Ballard and Branch Moore.
A private family only service will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home, Brewton, Ala., on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 2PM followed by interment at Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry, Ala.
