BREWTON, ALA.
Mrs. Faith Ann Beers, 83, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at her Brewton residence.
Mrs. Beers was born in Hammond, Ind. and had been a resident of Brewton since 1984, coming from Valparaiso, Fla.. She was a preacher’s wife, and she loved to read, do crafts, and spend time with children. She was a member of Christ Kingdom Ministry Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James R. Beers, Sr.; and her parents, Wilbur J. Cox and Jesse Seiffert Cox.
She is survived by a son Jim Beers, Jr. of Brewton; two daughters, Donna (Bill) Wilde of Smyrna, Tenn., and Margaret Wells of Niceville, Fla.; one brother, Richard Cox of Calif.; a sister, Edna Pubal of Ohio; six grandchildren; Billy (Katherine) Wilde, Scotty Wilde, Brian (Rebecca) Wells, Aaron (Adam) Wells, Caleb (Rowena) Beers, Brittany Beers; nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held at Weaver Cemetery on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at 11AM with the Rev. Avon Fowler and Pastor Herman Bradley officiating.
Pallbearers were Billy Wilde, Scotty Wilde, Brian Wells, Aaron Wells, Caleb Beers, and Bubba Wilde.
