MRS. CLEVIE EVANS MARTIN
BREWTON, ALA.
Mrs. Clevie “Flossie” Evans Martin, 90, of Brewton, Ala., passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of and former resident of Damascus, Ala., and a long time resident of Brewton. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church, a graduate of Damascus High School, and a Homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, Cosby Hayes (Bentley) Martin, Jr. and William Bill Martin both of Brewton; her daughter, Loretta Martin Davidson of Brewton; grandchildren, Cosby Hayes, Jr. (Hannah) Martin, Mallory Avery Martin, Nelson Martin and Stone Martin; her sister-in-laws, Flossie West, Mary Martin, Jackie Martin, Katherine Martin and June Martin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Martin, Sr.; a brother, Woodrow Evans; four sisters, Ruby Horton, Kate Jordan, Leno Kingston and Gladystine Parker; her son-in-law, Anthony Davidson.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held in Catawba Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating.
Interment will follow in Catawba Springs Cemetery Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
