BREWTON, ALA.
Mrs. Joyce Ann Pate, 80, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at a Pensacola health care facility.
Mrs. Pate was born in the Damascus Community and had been a longtime resident of Brewton. She served as President of Hainje’s Furniture for a number of years. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Pate.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Phyllis) Peters of Dothan, Ala.; a daughter, Krystal Hall of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Imogene Overbey of Bay Minette, Ala., and Pat Golden of Brewton; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Hall, Marc Peters, Josh Peters, Matt Peters; and eight great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 11AM until 1PM.
Funeral services will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home at 1PM on Thursday, May 28, 2020 with Bro. Steve Yuhasz officiating.
A private interment will follow at Damascus Cemetery under the direction of Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton.
