EAST BREWTON, ALA.
Mrs. Mary Alice Winkle, 66, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, at her East Brewton residence.
Mrs. Winkle was born in Ann Arbor, Mich., and had been a resident of East Brewton since 2002, coming from Munith, Mich. She was a customer services representative at a convenience store. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, going to the beach (which she called the “big water”) she loved being outside and her beer. She adored her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin D. Winkle; and a sister, Patty Bowdish.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori (Brian) Smith and Patricia Winkle both of East Brewton; one son, Dan (Shawn) Winkle of Mich.; one brother, Richie (MaryJo) Ulrich of Delhi, Mich.; five wonderful grandchildren, Alissa Marie Winkle, Logan Duane Smith, Emily Rose Winkle, Lucas Anthony Smith, and Levi Michael Smith.
No formal services are scheduled with Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton at this time.
