RONNIE SMITH
BREWTON, ALA.
Mr. Ronnie Smith, 65, of Brewton, Ala., passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. Mr. Smith attended the Potters House Church, attended W.S. Neal High School, and was retired from Brewton Iron Works with 40 plus years of service. He was an avid Alabama Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Thompson Smith of Brewton; a brother, Billy Smith of Milton, Fla.; a sister, Debbie Thompson (Russell) Padgett of East Brewton; a brother-in-law-, Tommy Garrett of Brewton; an aunt and uncle, Thelma and Jerry Lynn; a nephew, Weston (Kelsey) Garrett of Pace, Fla.; three great nieces; one great nephew; several cousins and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Graves Smith; mother-in-law, Lucille Nelson; his sister-in-law, Sue Garrett.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2020, from 1PM until 2PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2020 at 2PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lynn and Rev. Steve Pendleton officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
