BULAH MAE “MA” MITCHELL
MIXONVILLE, ALA.
Bulah Mae “Ma” Mitchell was born in Evergreen, Ala., to the late D.C. Mixon and Gussie Cook, on November 8, 1933. Bulah Mitchell married the late Shelton Mitchell when she was a young woman. She was also a faithful member of First Mount Zion Church of Mixonville, Ala., until she had a decline in her health in 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Mitchell; her daughter, Patricia Tucker; both parents, D.C. Mixon and Gussie Cook; her siblings, Charlie Mixon, Bill Mixon, Ernest Mixon, Irene Hayes, Anna Mae Mixon, Anna Lee May, Clevon Mixon and W.C. Mixon.
Bulah Mae Mitchell leaves to cherish her memories her beautiful daughters, Debra Mitchell and LoDee Bailey; her five grandchildren, Shelton Mitchell (Kayla), Michael Mitchell (Niger), Latonya Mitchell (Steven) Lakeith Bailey and Keidarius Bailey; 13 great grandchildren; her brother Zeno Mixon (Docha); host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends; her best friend, Lucille Mixon.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bulah Mae Mitchell were held Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 11AM at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel located in Evergreen, Ala., with the Reverend Willie Rudolph, officiating.
Interment immediately followed The service at First Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Mixonville, Ala.
