Mrs. Carolyn Anne Griffin Chavers,72 of County Road 22 in Evergreen, passed away Monday, August 31. 2020 in a Century, Fla., nursing facility after a brief illness.

She was a native of Chickasaw and a long time resident of Evergreen. Mrs. Chavers was a member of the Evergreen Church of Christ, a graduate of Lyeffion High School, and a retired floral arranger from Knud Neilsen with 20 plus years of service.

She is survived by one son, Rodney Chavers of Evergreen; one daughter, Denise Bradley of Brewton; one brother, Brent Griffin of Evergreen; one sister, Beverly Garrett of Evergreen; and three grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday, September 7, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Lambeth officiating.

Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
