Mr. Joseph “Joe” Edward Johnson, 73, of Twin Bridges Road in Flomaton, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 in a Jay, Fla., medical facility after a brief illness.
He was a native of Mobile and a long-time resident Escambia County, Alabama. Mr. Johnson was a 1964 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, served in the U.S. National Guard and was an avid Alabama Fan.
He is survived by one son, Brian (Nicole) Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Allison Johnson of Brewton, and Alex Haynes of Brewton; three grandchildren, Kristalyn Hutcheson, Madelyn Johnson and Gavin Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Adalyn Hutcheson and Aubree Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Wilson.
Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Speaker Brian Johnson officiating.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
