James Marty Loyed was born on April 11, 1955 and entered eternal life on November 12, 2020. His Spirit is carried on by his wife Diane; children Lindsey and Marti Leigh; Bonus Children Nathan (Christie) and Josh; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great grandchildren; parents, James and June; sister, Melody; two nieces; a great-nephew and many aunts, uncles, cousins and family too numerous to list but certainly not forgotten.
Marty had a great love for people, he was full of life, compassion, and would always put a smile on your face with his silly jokes and shenanigans. Marty was remembered by many things: One being the time he devoted to the employees and residents of The Century Care Center. Through his love for the Lord and the compassion he had for people, he spent many years there working alongside the residents and employees filling their days with laughter, love and companionship. Marty also attended First Assembly of God in East Brewton where he was also well known. Marty served his church in numerous ways from being a member of the praise and worship team, serving as a deacon, to leading numerous church plays. Marty always lived his life to the fullest and deeply loved his family and friends. It was a true honor to know him and even more of an honor to be loved by him.
The wake and funeral service was held at First Assembly of God in East Brewton on Saturday November 14, 2020 with the Rev. Jeff Scurlock officiating. The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service following in Green Acres Cemetery.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
