Mr. Corrie Luvernon “Snookie” Beasley of Ridge Road in Brewton, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Wallace Baptist Church and was retired from the oilfields. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing.
He is survived by two sons, Larry (Sandy) Beasley of Brewton, and James David (Susan) Wilson of Brewton; one daughter, Linda Sue (Johnny) Gibson of Brewton; nine grandchildren, Scott Wilson, Bo (Jodie) Wilson, Amanda (Brad) Harris, Jamie Wilson, Corrie (April) Gibson, Meka Hallford, Melanie (Jordan) Rowland, SuAnn (Wade) cole, Brennan Beasley; one brother, Sylvester Beasley; three sisters, Cleo Owens, Geraldine Madison and Geneva Parrish; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, one special sister-in-law, Janette Wilson of Brewton; and a special caregiver, Belle Rolin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Corrie and Essier Chandler Beasley and his wife of 63 years, Pauline Wilson Beasley.
Graveside serves were held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James Aubrey Wilson and the Rev. Freddie Lindsey officiating. Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
