Mrs. Maonda Ann Nelson, 58, of Mobile, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence in Mobile.

She was a native and long time resident of Brewton before moving to Mobile. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Appleton Church of Christ, a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed life.

She is survived by her parents, Jimmy Ray and Elizabeth Ann McCall Nelson of Brewton; a son, Heath (Mary Catherine) Nelson of Brewton; a daughter, Hannah Nelson of Ft. Walton, Fla.; two brothers, Jimmy Ray “Speedy” (Mellony) Nelson, Jr. of Brewton, and Ryan Shannon (Diane) Nelson of Flomaton; two sisters, Wanda (Rusy) Ellis of Brewton, and Tossa (Ronnie) Dixon of Andalusia; seven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-neices and great-nephews.

Visitation was held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Larry White and Elder Pete Davis officiating. Interment followed at Weaver Cemetery in Brewton.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
