Mr. Paul C. Thompson, 77, of Travis Road in Brewton, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after brief illness.

He was a native and life-long resident of Brewton. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, a 1961 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, he served in the U.S. National Guard, and worked at A&P and was a manager at Superfoods. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Goolsby Thompson of Brewton; two sons, Kevin (Becky) Bedsole of Brewton, and Jamie (Missy) Kilcrease of Brewton; one daughter, Kim Bedsole of Bay Minette; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel funeral Home with Pastor John Kemp and Pastor Bill Thompson officiating. Interment followed in Spear Cemetery in Brewton.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
