Mr. John “Butch” Bryant O’Bannon, 64, of Burbank Drive in Milton, Fla., passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native of Brewton, and a long-time resident of Opp and Milton, Fla. Mr. O’Bannon was a 1974 graduate of Robertsdale High School, and was a retired residential construction carpenter. He was an avid Alabama football fan and an Atlanta Braves fan.

He is survived by one son, Ory O’Bannon of Milton, Fla.; one daughter, LeAnn Brand of Milton, Fla.; one brother, Shelton O’Bannon of Louisville, Kent.; and five grandchildren.
Graveside Services were held Monday afternoon, January 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery with Dr. Dianne Ellis officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery Brewton, Alabama.

Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
