Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Ann Padgett Cole of Damascus Road in the Damascus community of Brewton, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.
She was a native of Monroeville and a life-long resident of Brewton. Mrs. Cole attended the Damascus Baptist Church, and was a retired RN from D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her family, friends, hunting, fishing, and hot rods.
She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Gean Norwood Padgett of Brewton; two sons, Wade (SuAnn) Cole of Brewton and Trent (Susan) Cole of Brewton; one daughter, Beverly (John) Norton of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Padgett of Brewton and Jimmy (Debra) Padgett of Brewton; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Carlton Padgett; her husband, Bobby G. Cole, Jr.; a daughter, Sherry Michelle cole; and a sister, Ruby Jeane Padgett.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from the chapel of Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hodoh and the Rev. Steve Yuhasz officiating. Interment followed in Damascus Cemetery in the Damascus community of Brewton.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
