Mr. Donald Derrell Oliver, 76 of Repton, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Monroe County Hospital.
Mr. Oliver was born in Belleville and been a life-long resident of Conecuh County. He was a graduate of Conecuh County High School. He worked as a lab supervisor at Smurfit Stone for a number of years, and also served in the National Guard. He enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, and loved farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Oliver and Pauline Baggett Oliver.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Oliver of Repton; three sons, Gregory Scott Oliver of Castleberry, Daniel Keith Oliver of Castleberry, and Jim (Jennifer) Burnham of Brewton; one daughter, Michelle (Greg) Singleton of Brewton; three grandchildren, Megan Oliver (Jacob) Burch, Brian Scott Oliver, and Alivia Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Addie Oliver, and Brinkley Burch.
Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, January 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Billy Ray Singleton officiating.
Craver’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
