Mr. Arthur “Buddy” Everette Lynn, Jr., 79, of Bradley Road in Andalusia, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 in a local hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. Mr. Lynn was of the Baptist Faith, a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, a U.S. Army veteran, and was a retired storeroom clerk from Jefferson Smurfitt with 45 years of service. Buddy enjoyed water skiing, other water sports, fishing, hunting, and owning and showing classic cars.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Davis Lynn of Andalusia; his children, Kim Lewis, Donna (Perry Neal) Watson; grandchildren, Biranda Lynn Strickland, Katie (Paul) Jordan, Maddox (Breanna) Lynn; great-grandchildren, Zaldyn Strickland, Anna Jordan, Stephen Jordan, Jack Jordan; a niece, Kathy Barco; newphews, Keith Barco, Barry Barco; and a close friend, Johnny V. Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Everette Sr. and Louise Maddox Lynn; and a son, Art Lynn III.

Memorial services will be held at a later date and time to be announced by Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
