Benjamin McMillan Hagood, 58, a native of Brewton, and a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Ben was a graduate of Alabama, his vocation was in medical sales and was co-owner of Foley Chevron Depot. Ben loved boating, camping, the beach, organizing family events and going out with friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sarah Jane Hagood and a brother, Tom Hagood.
Ben is survived by his husband, Matt Mastin of Fairhope; sister, Lane Hagood (John) Norton of Albany, Ga.; sister-in-law, Margy Hagood of Nashville, Tenn.; three nieces, Sarah Norton, Dabney Norton and Sarah Hagood; his furry friend, Bruiser and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Ben’s life was held at Local Appetite Growers, Silverhill, on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the Baldwin County Humane Society or The Haven.
Arrangements were handled by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., of Fairhope.
