Mr. Roy Douglas Kelley, 77 of Columbus Circle in Brewton, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after brief illness.
He was a native of Georgiana, and a long time resident of Brewton. Mr. Kelley was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church, a graduate of T.R. Miller High School, and was retired from the storeroom at Jefferson Smurfitt with 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening his grapevines. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and enjoyed his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Smith Kelley of Brewton; two sons, David (Mary) Kelley of Deatsville, and Jeff (Stacey) Kelley of Brewton; one brother, Luther Kelley of Flomaton; five grandchildren, Megan Kelley, Kayla Alexander, Bethany Kelley Kasea Witt and Victoria Witt.
He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Fannie Mae Dukes Kelley and a brother, Robert Kelley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kelley and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Glory Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
