John “Tractor” Johnson, 76, of Brewton, passed away on February 4, 2021 at his home.
John was born on January 10th, 1945 in Alabama. John is the youngest son of the late Jannie and Anderson Johnson. John will be joining a host of family and friends.
John graduated from Southern Normal and later moved to Southern California with his brothers and started a successful drywall business. The brothers later returned to Brewton, in which John continued his drywall business.
John is survived by his loving wife Betty Johnson; brother, Anderson Johnson (Louise); sisters-in-law, Ruby Johnson and May Johnson; daughters, Wanda Taylor of Mobile, and Cynthia Capterville of Brewton; sons, Ray Capterville Jr. and Tobias Johnson both of Brewton; grandchildren, Douglas Dixon, LaQuita Dixon, Nadia Eldridge, Tiffany Britt, Tamika Capterville, Alexis Morrison, Europa Capterville, Llyric Capterville; great-grandchildren, Jarvis Clements Jr., Kylah Britt, Kameron Nunez Capterville, Kaiden Fantroy, Blake Britt, Kingston Hamblin, Kendra Fountain and Ryleigh Boggan; and a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
Memorial Visitations were held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Presley-Fluker Funeral Home in Brewton from 4 to 6 p.m.
Graveside services were held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Bergen Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 am.
Presley-Fluker Funeral Home of Brewton was in charge of arrangements.
