Coastal Alabama Community College Warhawks and Coastal Alabama Community College North split in a series of games 2-2 this past week.
The series of games started on April Fools Day, and the North was able to defeat Coastal in the first game of the day 7-5. North was able to have the early advantage in the game, being up 5-2 by the 4th inning of the game.
Coastal would try to come back in the final inning of the game, but it was too late. Even though they scored an impressive 3 points in the final inning, it
wasn’t wasn’t enough to make a comeback.
Coastal was able to make a comeback in the second game. Not only did Coastal win the second game of the series 8-6, but they scored 7 of their 8 points in one inning.
After that, North was just unable to catch up to Coastal, which led to Coastal winning the second game. Coastal was also able to win the 3 rd game in the series 6-5. This was the most competitive game out of the series of games so far.
In the 4th and final game of the series, North was able to defeat Coastal 7-5 to finish out the series. The whole series of games between the two teams was really competitive and a lot of good softball was played by both teams.
Coastal Alabama Community College season is coming to an end soon, and both the players and the coach are looking forward to ending the season
the best way possible.
Coastal’s next series of games will be against Enterprise State Community College beginning today (Wednesday, April 7).
