A seven-day report has been released by the Escambia County Healthcare Authority in regard to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases in the county.

As of Tuesday, the number of positive cases from testing at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton rose by 156 resulting from more than 470 tests administered at the facility.  There were 39 new cases found from 139 tests administered at Atmore Community Hospital.
