The Escambia County Health Care Authority has released the latest numbers in COVID testing at the county’s two health care facilities.

The number of positive tests is on the rise throughout the county and the state of Alabama.

In Escambia County, the 150 positive cases found in the previous seven day period is translated to a 47.9 percent increase in the number of cases. In Alabama, 35,542 postive test results is translated to a 36.4 percent positivity rate.
