Brewton Public Library to begin summer reading program

The Brewton Public Libary will once again be hosting a summer reading program for children and adults beginning this week.
The weekly program will be held on Thursdays throughout the month of June beginning June 2 at 10 a.m.
Scheduled guests will be presenting special talents providing a unique approach to reading.
Gene Cordova will be the guest for the June 2 presenting storytelling, ventriloquism, comedy illusion and baloon twisting.
On June 9, Michelle’s Magical Poodles will be on hand for the program with fun, quirky dog tricks with an educational twist.
June 16’s program will feature Ron Anglin who will presenting a mixture of humor and juggling.
Alabama Blues will be on hand for the June 23 program.
The children’s programs will conclude on June 30 with Animal Tales. The educational program company will bring live animals to allow participants to get “up close and personal” with unique animals.
Lunch will be provided each week by Feeding the Gulf coast.
A progam will also be featured each week for teens beginning June 2. Those programs will feature cloud dough, gaming night, a paint party and a special game night conclusion.
For adults, the programs will begin June 7 and will include game night, door hangers, line dancing, bath bombs and other activities.
