Mrs. Ida Pauline Lowery Bell, 92, of Douglas Avenue in Brewton, passed away Monday night, June 13, 2022 in a local nursing facility after a brief illness.
She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. Mrs. Bell was of the Holiness faith, she enjoyed working for her brothers at Golden Motors for many years, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Monica (Eddie) Booker of Uriah; three brothers, Rayford (Lanette) Lowery Jr. of Brewton, Buford (Vicki) Lowery of Brewton and Woodie Ray Lowery of Brewton; three sisters, Aline Johnson of Pace, Fla., Nadine Lancaster of Barnetts Cross Roads, and Nora (Gene) Frazier of Brewton; two grandchildren, Travis Booker and Lane Booker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayford Sr. and Allie Merritt Lowery; her husband, Otto Bell; and a brother, Comer Lee Lowery.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 17 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton with the Rev. Fred White officiating. Interment followed in Weaver Cemetery in Brewton.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
