Brewton has gained a new member of the community with the addition of Dr. Catherine Harrington to the D.W. McMillan medical field.
In honor of Harrington, D.W. McMillan Medical Center (DWMMC) will have an open house on Thursday, January 19 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. to welcome Dr. Catherine Harrington, OBGYN to the Brewton community.
The event will be open to the public at the D.W. McMillan Medical Center located at 1121 Belleville Avenue.
Dr. Harrington received her Doctor of medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Fla. and completed her residency at Cook County Hospital of Chicago in Chicago, Ill.
Dr. Harrington also completed a Rural Family Medicine Residency at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.
Harrington also attended the University of Florida and graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology. Dr.
Harrington and husband Dudley live in Brewton.
The D.W. McMillan Medical Center is accepting new patients for Dr. Harrington. We hope that everyone will welcome them to our community and help them feel at home.
