Brewton area residents will have an opportunity to enjoy food and entertainment on Sunday, thanks to an annual event hosted by the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Kick It At The Creek will feature local favories of crawfish and shrimp along with other foods for the annual event.
Judy Crane, executive director of the Chamber, said the event is gearing up to be a fun time for everyone.
“We will have entertainment from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Kaleb King,” Crane said. “The food will be available beginning at 2 p.m.”
The food this year will consist of crawfish or shrimp plates at $20 each with a combo plate for $25, Crane said.
There will be no pre-orders with all dishes served beginning at 2 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
Crane said that in addition to the crawfish and shrimp plates, there will be slices of pizza for sale as well, along with plenty of drinks from Pepsi.
“We will have a special t-shirt on sale for the day,” Crane said. “Shirts will be available for $20 each.”
King, who will perform for the afternoon, is a well-known regional performer with many single releases including Cuttin’ Onions and Where We Left Off.
