Coastal Alabama Community College is pleased to announce the Fall 2023 launch of its new Night Term, providing a dedicated opportunity for working professionals and parents to pursue higher education conveniently. The Night Term will run from September 5 through November 17, allowing individuals to enroll in classes after Labor Day and complete their studies before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Recognizing the unique challenges faced by busy individuals juggling work and family responsibilities, Coastal Alabama Community College has designed the Night Term to cater specifically to their needs. By offering a range of evening classes during this dedicated term, the college aims to provide increased flexibility and accessibility to higher education.
Dr. Craig Pouncey, President of Coastal Alabama Community College, said the term will assist those who are currently in the work force.
“We understand the demands that working professionals and parents face, and we believe that education should be accessible to all,” Pouncey said. “The Night Term will offer a flexible and convenient schedule, allowing individuals to pursue their academic goals without compromising their work or family obligations.”
Students enrolled in the Night Term will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of courses offered during the evening hours. The curriculum will cover various disciplines, including business, humanities, STEM, and more, enabling students to tailor their educational experience to their specific interests and career aspirations.
