The W.S. Neal Eagles hosted Mobile Christian in their first region game of the season. The first half of play was tough on the Eagles with Mobile Christian racking up 21 unanswered points. The Eagles were able to hold Mobile Christian to a field goal late in the first half putting them up over W.S. Neal 24 to 0 at the half.

In the second half of play, the Eagles continued to battle with some minor injuries on the night.

The Mobile Christian team managed to get across the goal line a couple more times on the night even as the Eagle defense continued their hard work. That hard work would pay off with a 66-yard run by Quay McCants to find the end zone and the only score the Eagles would make. A failed PAT keeps them to 6 on the night.

The Eagles will host Monroe County Tigers in another region game in East Brewton on Friday. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
