If finding a job is on your to-do list, a Thursday event may be the solution.
Local employers are currently seeking workers to fill positions in a variety of fields throughout the community and the county. With that in mind, a special job fair is being held Thursday.
The Brewton Career Center, will hold their second annual Job Fair beginning at 9 a.m.  on October 5.
The location will be at the Brewton Civic Center located behind Brewton City Hall at 101B Douglas Avenue.
Many employers and occupations will be represented at the event including D.W. McMillan Hospital, Atmore Community Hospital, Whataburger, Provalus, Escambia County Schools, Weyerhaueuser, Peach Chevrolet and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Sponsors are Crowne Health Care, the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce and Pepsi-Cola Bottling.
Those seeking employment are invited to dress for success and bring a resume to the event.
