Today (Tuesday), conservative Republican Jerry Carl announced that he has earned the endorsements of 22 mayors in Alabama’s First Congressional District.

“Since I took office in 2021, I’ve enjoyed close working relationships with all our mayors. I am honored to earn the endorsement of 22 mayors in my district, and I look forward to many more years of working together with them to better the lives of our constituents,” said Congressman Jerry Carl. 

“I am thankful for all the work Congressman Carl does for the people he represents. I am proud to endorse him for reelection in 2024,” said Brewton Mayor Yank Lovelace.

“Congressman Jerry Carl has 100% of my support in his upcoming reelection in Alabama’s First Congressional District,” said Atmore Mayor Jim Staff.

“I appreciate the job Congressman Carl is doing in Washington, and I heartily endorse him for his next term,” said Bay Minette Mayor Bob Wills.

“I have known Jerry Carl for many years. He always takes time to listen and always helps with any issues he can. My family and I are supporting and voting for Jerry Carl for Congress in 2024,” said Bayou La Batre Mayor Henry Barnes.
