Porch Fest set for Saturday afternoon

There may be a few clouds over Brewton on Saturday, but the weather for PorchFest 2023 should be near perfect.
Festival attendees will be given the opportunity to enjoy a variety of musical performances.
Performances are set to begin at 1 p.m. along the 600 blocks of Belleville and Evergreen Avenues.
The finale performance will be by “Purple Madness” with the band set to take the stage at 6 p.m. on Belleville Avenue’s Main Stage.
The afternoon line up of performances is:
On Belleville Avenue:
1:15 – 2:00 – Three Old Guys and a Guitar – 619 Belleville Ave – Cooper Porch;

There is no admission charge to attend the open-air music event. There will be food trucks on hand for refreshments during the afternoon and evening.
Special PorchFest t-shirts are also available with short sleeves at $20 and long-sleeves at $25. Stop by the Chamber office to purchase or visit the Chamber’s information wagon on-site near the main stage on Saturday.
The “Purple Madness” is the ultimate celebration of the most widely beloved entertainer and profoundly influential artist of all-time. Bobby Miller presents an electrifying performance that can be best described as, high energy and a “must see” performance.
The Prince Purple Madness Tribute Show has all but perfected every last nuance in recreating the sights and sounds of the artist Prince.
It is with great honor and utmost reverence that The Prince Tribute Band was formed. For anyone who wasn’t fortunate enough to have witnessed a Prince live show, the experience was undeniably one of the best live performances on the planet. It was with this idea in mind that Bobby Miller chose to re-create some of Prince’s most memorable concert moments. The Production team consists of Bobby Miller as the artist, backed by some of the most talented dancers and musicians that have toured the US and abroad. Collectively, the team consists of over a 100 years of music experience. The group lovingly describes their show as a performance that is second to none.
Chamber officials are inviting the public to bring your lawn chairs to sit back and relax to great entertainment.
