Area children have been busy getting their wish list to Santa by writing letters to the Jolly Old Elf.

The Dec. 20 edition of The Brewton Standard will carry many of those letters. The letters were copied and then sent on to the North Pole to be considered by Santa.

He is currently checking his list for the second time and will make decisions based on his findings on the list.

Please be sure to pick up a copy of the special Holiday Edition of The Brewton Standard to see what some children in the area are wishing for this year.

Letters included will be ones written by students at Brewton Elementary School, W.S. Neal Elementary School, as well as others from the community.
