Jerry Wilson, a dedicated community member and long-time resident of Escambia County, has thrown his hat into the ring for the upcoming election to represent District 3 on the Escambia County School Board. Neal High School, Wilson pursued studies in forestry and industrial electronics at Alabama Southern Community College and Reid State Technical College. Following a decade in the oil field, he transitioned to a role at Georgia Pacific in Brewton, where he is currently celebrating his 14th year of employment.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Wilson’s personal life underscores his deep-rooted commitment to community service and family values. Married to his high school sweetheart, Cimmaron Buonopane Wilson, for 23 years, Wilson is the proud parent of two children, Harley Rose and Henry Stone both educated at W.S. Neal High School. Their family’s active involvement in East Brewton Nazarene Church, where Wilson has served as the youth leader and on the church board for 15 years, highlights his dedication to nurturing the next generation.
