Officials with the Escambia County Habitat for Humanity have announced the cancellation of an event planned for Thursday.

National speaker, Kari Kampakis, was set to speak Thursday, March 21 at T.R. Miller High School. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the event has been cancelled.

HFH Executive Director Shae Hines said the group is disappointed that the cancellation was necessary. However, the group is planning to reschedule the event for later this year. The specific date and time will be announced once those plans have been finalized.
