Troy Athletics has anounced the inaugural Ultimate Troy Football Fan competition to take place during the month of August, culminating with a fan vote from a group of finalists to determine the Ultimate Troy Football Fan.

To nominate yourself or someone else, visit TroyTrojans.com/UltimateFan and fill out the nomination form. Fans are encouraged to include photos of their Troy fandom with their nominations, which they can email to TroyExternal@gmail.com.

“Selecting the Ultimate Troy Football Fan will not be an easy task because Trojan Nation is one of the best fan bases in all of college athletics,” Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. “Our football program has a storied history and tradition of winning conference and national championships in addition to defeating the likes of Mississippi State, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Nebraska. Our fans have transformed The Vet into one of the toughest venues to play in the national, and I’m excited to honor our passionate fans and recognize their story, their commitment, their dedication and their passion with this competition. I encourage everyone to be creative, be energetic and show your Trojan Spirit during the nomination process.”

A Troy Athletics panel will narrow the nominees down to a group of finalists, who will move on to a fan vote to determine the Ultimate Troy Football Fan. Finalists will be asked to submit a 30-60 second “audition” video on why Trojan Nation should select them as the Ultimate Troy Football Fan.
